Group Tour Requests
The National Weather Service (NWS) Weather Forecast Office, Flagstaff, is happy to give group tours
of our office in Bellemont. Afternoon tours may view a weather balloon launch! Tour group size is limited
to a maximum of 20 persons due to space limitations at the forecast office. Please see instructions
below for requesting a tour.
Instructions for Tour Requests:
Fax us a request, at (928) 774-3914, Attention: Administration/Tours, with the following information:
- Your name and where (city or town) you are from.
- The size and age range (if a school class) of the group.
- Preferred date/time or tour and alternate dates/times.
- A contact name for your tour, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address.
A representative from the NWS Forecast Office will call, fax, or e-mail the tour contact
to confirm the tour or, if needed, reschedule the tour if the requested date/time will not work.
Teachers: We've found that for the younger weather enthusiasts it is helpful for them to come
to the tour prepared with some weather questions to ask. Of course we encourage questions from
all tour participants!
