This animation shows the series of earthquakes that occurred from October 23, 2002 through November 7, 2002. (The data are still incomplete, especially between Oct 31 though November 3.) The two large earthquakes of October 23, 2002 (magnitude 6.7) and the November 3, 2002 (magnitude 7.9) are labeled as they occur. Note the yellow bar at the bottom left of the image that shows the passage of time.
