Voluntary Recall of Some Oregon Scientific Weather Radios

The National Weather Service provides and maintains a nationwide network of weather radio transmitters known as NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards (NWR). NWR transmits weather information 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This weather information includes, but is not limited to, local forecasts, weather watches and warnings, current weather, and climatological information. NWR can be heard over most of Northern and Southwestern Utah, and portions of the Southeast. Weather radios may be purchased at retail electronic outlets nationwide, or in the electronic sections of most department stores. The following is a list of NWR stations in Utah, along with the areas in which they can be heard, and its frequencies and location.
