  FTA Supports Bahrain’s Labor Reforms
As in other recent U.S. free trade agreements, the U.S.–Bahrain FTA contains provisions reaffirming the Parties’ commitments as members of the International Labor Organization, and pledging the effective enforcement of domestic labor laws that provide internationally recognized worker rights. The Office of the United States Trade Representative transmitted to the President and the Congress reports from 27 trade advisory committees, comprising more than 750 practitioners representing diverse interests and views, regarding the U.S.–Bahrain Free Trade Agreement (FTA).
