The Portfolio Analysis Division is responsible for the strategic planning of GSA's portfolio.

This division provides the following services to its customers:

• Develops real property asset management policy.
• Provides interpretation or guidance on the policy.
• Develops implementing instructions and tools and conducts training.
• Provides program oversight and ensures consistent implementation. Implements legislative and regulatory initiatives that enable PBS to optimize the financial performance of its portfolio consistent with sound real estate management principles.
• Measures portfolio optimization.
• Reassesses the impact of restructuring strategies on the portfolio.
• Evaluates local portfolio plans, feasibility studies, and projects proposals prepared by regional portfolio managers for consistency with strategic, business and investment objectives.
• Targets legislative and regulatory requirements.
