Students from Acadiana
Sen. Vitter welcomed four Acadiana area students and their chaperones to his Washington office. The students, Emily Hebert, Melissa Jo Pesson, Alex Grant and Andrew Pierre Schwing, were finalists for the “Save Our History” national award for Acadian Memorial’s “Let the Children Speak” project in which local children put themselves into the shoes of Acadian children who were exiled from their homes in 1755. |
