Finding Aids to Collections in the Archive of Folk Culture
The Archive of Folk Culture holds approximately 2,500
collections consisting of over 100,000 sound recordings and 3
million items. At this time only a small portion of them have catalog
records and finding aids. Finding aids listed as print only can
be requested by contacting the Folklife
Reading Room.
There are two types of Finding Aids for researching collections:
