In regards to docket no. 2007-02, I feel the final Access Board guidelines should not use the International Symbol of Accessibility (the wheelchair symbol) as it may lead the public to expect the same degree of accessibility as in the built environment.

Instead, land managers should be provided with examples of different approaches to signage that can be adapted as appropriate to help users determine if a trail meets their skills and desired experience.

I can understand everyones want to “get outside and play”.

This is a huge suggestion and grand undertaking that would require millions of dollars and labor hours to not only create, but also maintain.

The national park service has already provided many locations that are accessible to those in wheelchairs, etc.
