Return to Water in Africa

Guinea can be divided into four regions: the low coast, which is humid; middle Guinea, which has the most temperate climate; upper Guinea, with dry flatlands; and the forest, which can have more than 100 inches of rain a year. In most parts of the country, there are two seasons: the dry season, from November to March, and the rainy season, in April and May, and in October and November.
