Contact the Office of Press Relations to:

  • Obtain and verify information on U.S. foreign policy positions
  • Attend press briefings and media events
  • Apply for a press corps building pass

Hours of Office Operation:

8:15 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

A Press Officer can be reached Monday through Saturday until 11:00 p.m., either in the office (202) 647-2492 during work hours or through the Department of State’s Operations Center (202) 647-1512 outside regular work hours.
