States, territories, national forests, and other cooperators
are asked to report annual accomplishment data in three online
systems (see below). Data from these three systems are tabulated
and summarized in PMAS to provide national accomplishment
information for Cooperative Forestry (CF).
For FY 2004, annual reporting of Cooperative Forestry accomplishments
is due November 12, 2004. A summary of reporting elements
can be found in the 2004
PMAS Desk Guide . This package reflects a yearlong effort
in 2003 to revise the CF performance management system. The
goal of the revision was to reduce the burden of data collection
and also create a more meaningful set of information.
Validation of data by regions/area/institute before it is
submitted is important to assure data quality and consistency.

basis in FLIS. This information is used for the project
proposal / selection process as well as for national accomplishment
reporting.
Project information is updated as projects are completed
or revised.
Summary information is downloaded into PMAS for annual reporting
purposes.
