The 800 MHz band reconfiguration program and all associated activities generally proceed in two phases: a Planning and Negotiation Phase and a Reconfiguration Implementation Phase. With some licensees nearing the completion of the planning phase, it is important for preparation for Reconfiguration Implementation to begin.

As a result, the TA will be conducting Implementation Planning Sessions (in certain but not all areas) primarily for Public Safety licensees reconfiguring NPSPAC frequencies, with the purpose of developing a comprehensive implementation schedule, including proper identification of issues, risks, dependencies and next steps.

Additionally, there are some specific tasks and activities associated with Implementation that licensees who have successfully completed the negotiation of their FRA need to prepare for. To help facilitate licensee preparation, the TA has put together a facts sheet that provides guidance on initiating implementation.

Contact the TA at comments@800TA.org if you have any questions about Implementation or you need assistance getting started.
