The 4th National Addiction Counselors Day
National Addiction Counselors Day came into conception September 25, 2002. There are thousands of counselors, whose mission was to educate families about the seriousness and fatal aspects of alcohol and drugs and the effects it has on families. Counselors have always been the people working in the trenches, the back bone of recovery. With this idea and the help of NAADAC the 1st National Counselors Day was born. This is a very important day when Counselors are recognized and commentated for their work in alcohol and drug recovery and treatment.
