Question
Has anyone conducted experiments to prove that initial DNA could have occurred spontaneously?
DNA is far too complex a molecule to have occurred "spontaneously". It is surely the product of millions of years of chemical and biological evolution, and some astrobiologists are studying parts of this evolutionary pathway. I doubt that a complete picture of such a slow evolutionary process will emerge soon, however. David Morrison
