The VBOC...

The Veterans' Business Outreach Center provides business training, counseling, technical assistance, and mentoring to Veterans, Reservist, National Guard, and Active Duty business owners and start-up candidates in the Southeast Region of the USA. This program is funded by the Small Business Administration to serve as a clearinghouse of business and technical assistance for those interested in starting or growing a business. Utilizing Small Business Administration partners such as the Small Business Development Centers, Service Corps or Retired Executives (SCORE), One Stop Capital Shops, and Business Information Centers across the eight-state region, we are able to assist individuals through each phase of their business development.

I know I want to seek the assistance VBOC can provide me, and this is my first visit to the site

Before the VBOC can provide assistance, veterans are required to complete the Eletronic Request for Counseling (ERFC) form. Additionally, if applicable, they are required to fax a copy of their VA "Letter of Award" stating a service-connected disability (again-- only if applicable).
