Fermilab Summer Students - 2007

Research: Joshua performed an analysis involving the likelihood calculations of the top quark mass. This analysis serves as an important test of current theoretical predictions of the projected top mass error for anticipated particle beam luminosities. His work required writing computer scripts that streamlined the process of executing computer-intensive Monte Carlo calculations of signal and background probabilities for thousands of simulated collisions to grid computers.
