Computer Options

The National Federation of the Blind of Nebraska has begun a new venture, Computer Options. It is located in the NFBN office, at 11th and N Streets in Lincoln, and officially opened for business on Monday, February 12.

Our purpose is to give blind Nebraskans, primarily but not exclusively those 55 and older, the opportunity to either learn or enhance their computer skills. We offer two 2-hour classes (9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM) Monday through Friday. Maximum class size is three students per class period.

We are currently prepared to offer training in the use of:

  • Job Access With Speech (JAWS)
