Governor Tim Pawlenty announced today that Minnesota will receive $144.5 million in federal funds for its Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) for this year. The money is part of the continuing resolution signed by President Bush this week and is almost double the normal appropriation for Minnesota.
