Welcome to the home page of Dr. John B. Kerr. Our group is investigating the movement of ions and charge through media which are fixed in place but locally dynamic. We are applying this study to advanced solid polymer electrolytes, lithium-polymer batteries, electrochromic window devices, novel and efficient co-factor regeneration for enzymatic catalysis and the electrochemical acceleration of bioremediation of contaminated soil.
