Mexico Joins the GLOBE Program!
GLOBE is delighted to welcome Mexico as the 44th GLOBE Country. The
GLOBE agreement was signed today by Lic. Enrique Provencio Durazo,
Undersecretary for Planning of the Secretaria de Medio Ambiente, Recursos
Naturales y Pesca (the Secretariat for Environment, Natural Resources and
Fisheries) and United States Ambassador James Jones.Three Mexican trainers will be attending next week's International GLOBE Training Workshop in Miami, Florida, United States, who will then return to Mexico and begin implementing GLOBE.
We look forward to the active participation of Mexican students in the GLOBE Program!
