Description and Purpose of Courses
Introduction to Inclusive Recreation

Appropriate for ANY recreation staff, this fundamental overview covers basics, best practices, terminology, sensitivity and includes a great introduction to effective behavior management practices. IDEAL for support staff or as a prerequisite to the other course.

 

Developing Inclusive Recreation

Geared toward more experienced recreation professionals, this course provides a much more in-depth response to the questions on your mind:

  • Requirements
  • Funding
  • Process
  • Models
  • Training

This course also includes a section on basic program adaptation to get you started thinking about how adaptation works.

Introduction to Inclusive Recreation: $20.00 per person

 

Developing Inclusive Recreation: $45.00 per person
