Working With Us

Photo of people in meetingNAS is committed to pursuing its leadership role in the field of distributed high-speed computing well into the 21st century. To that end, we're always looking for opportunities to collaborate with individuals and organizations that share our passion for excellence and excitement about the future of computing. Here are a few ways we can work together to expand the frontiers of scientific computing at NASA:

  • Scientific or technical organizations or high-tech companies interested in partnering with NAS on projects of significant scale are encouraged to contact the Division Office directly.

  • On the Job Openings pages of this section, you'll find information about employment opportunities at NAS for both civil service and contractor positions. We currently have a number of job openings that will challenge you to use your unique talents, knowledge, and experience to contribute to the exciting research and technology efforts taking place here.

  • Qualified scientific researchers can find out how to apply for and get access to the high performance computers at the NAS Facility in the Using Our Systems section.

  • Researchers seeking funding for projects related to high-speed computing technology should check out the Research Grants page for information on applying for a research grant through the NAS Systems Division. Currently, we are funding research in the areas of high-speed networking, high-density storage, data-mining, and parallel tools development.
