Aug 23rd

New 24ft boat by Sea Ark is towed from Fairbanks to Circle, AK and launched on the Yukon R.

The Sea Ark is acquired as a support and cargo boat. Sea Ark boats up river to meet sampling crew at the National Park Service's Slavens cabin. (54 miles).

Sampling crew departs Eagle and takes a grab sample below Tatondik R. (26 miles).

Sampling crew continues to Nation River (20 miles). Discharge by Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP), water sample by Equal Discharge Increment method (EDI) with a D-96 sampler.

Boats depart for Ft Yukon, AK (67 miles).

Road crew returns to Fairbanks with processed samples.
