Office of Outreach

The Office of Outreach provides communication and messaging support to members of the media, education communities, businesses, industries and individual citizens on behalf of the Employment & Training Administration (ETA). The office provides workforce information and materials on ongoing ETA initiatives and coordinates local and national ETA outreach activities.

Since the announcement of a nearly $200 million investment over the next three years through the WIRED Initiative, the Office of Outreach has coordinated the implementation of each selected region’s plan to transform their regional economies. The office provides support to regional leads for the 13 selected regions and 13 regional leads for the WIRED Virtual Community.

InDemand, ETA’s magazine on high-growth jobs and training, is published periodically by the Office of Outreach, and made available to high schools across the country. If you have any questions regarding InDemand, or would like to receive a reprint, visit and fill out the comment section.

ETA’s Web portal, CareerVoyages is designed to provide information on high growth, in-demand occupations as well as the skills and education needed to attain those jobs. The Office of Outreach maintains the site. For questions email
