•  Flood Frequency project
  AML software written to automatically extract watershed parameters such as area, main channel length, main channel slope, mean basin elevation, and percent forest given a minimum of input information
• Flood Inundation project
  Heads up digitizing from scanned low altitude aerial photographs taken at the peak of the 1993 flood to delineate the flooded area along the Missouri River at Jefferson City and St. Louis
• Ozarks Stream Geomorphology project
  Analysis of channel changes of Ozark streams over multiple years using aerial photography and sophisticated GIS techniques and models
• Weldon Spring Geologic Mapping project
  GIS database of well log information that is used to create isopac and top of formation maps for geologic interpretation at the Weldon Spring Superfund site
• Springfield Karst Study
  A GIS database of Karst features (sinkholes, caves, springs) was created and integrated with standard 7.5' DLG data for Greene County, Missouri to help the county manage its water resources more effectively
• Soil Staining Experiments at MSEA project
  Soil stain experiments analyzed with image processing and GIS techniques to determine the affected area/volume of soil macropores
• Fort Leonard Wood Geohydrology project
  GIS database of hydrologic information including well logs, water chemistry, and water quantity information integrated with surficial soil, geology, and topographic information for the Fort Leonard Wood Military Reservation will be used to support ground water modeling efforts
• Bridge Scour
  GIS methods of rubbersheeting used to transform variable horizontal scale fathometer traces to single scale traces for further analysis and comparison
• Columbia/Eagle Bluffs Wetlands Monitoring project
  GIS database of base information (roads, streams, levees), surface elevation, soils, integrated with ground-water chemistry and 1993 and 1995 flood data
• Wetland Bathymetry
  Transects were surveyed across wetlands and triangular irregular networks (TIN) were created using this elevation data. The TINs were contoured and depth/area/volume calculations performed. The information will be used to help make informed management decisions at the wetlands.
