Environmental Health
Provides services to prevent food-borne, water-borne and communicable diseases. Through education and regulatory enforcement of Public Health Statutes, rules, and codes, surveys are performed on:

• Food establishments
• Public swimming pools
• Public accommodations
• Campgrounds
• Trailer parks
• Public health nuisance complaints
• Food Manager and Food Handler training courses are provided on a regular basis, and additional training courses are provided as needed.
• Diseases of animals that can be transmitted to humans are monitored.
• Public announcements are released through the media as necessary to protect public health.
