At-Sea Scales

  • 61 FR 6337, February 20, 1996. NMFS proposes requiring operators of processor vessels participating in the pollock fisheries in the GOA and the BSAI to install scales to weight catch. Comment period through April 6, 1996.

Community Development Quota (CDQ)

  • 61 FR 24475, May 15, 1996. NMFS proposes to add the city of Akutan to the list of western Alaska communities that are eligible to participate in the CDQ programs, to remove the authority to use scales to weigh total catch in the Pollock CDQ fishery. Comment period through June 13, 1996.
