Background
Eric Hockersmith has worked in fisheries since 1983 and has participated in a wide range of projects that focus primarily on fish migrational behavior, survival and passage at dams. He earned a B.S. in environmental conservation from the University of New Hampshire.

Current Research
Eric's current research activities include using radiotelemetry and PIT tags to evaluate migrational characteristics and survival of juvenile salmonids in the Snake and Columbia river basins.
