Leadership Competencies
Leadership Development Framework
Combines the 28 Leadership Competencies with five responsibility levels that apply to all employees (worker, first-line supervisor, mid-level manager, senior manager, and executive). Provides the expertise anticipated at each level. Offers a variety of ways to gain and demonstrate the anticipated expertise (training, voluntary education, and other learning opportunities).

Officer Advanced Education in Organizational Leadership
Earn a master's degree
in Organizational Leadership. This is an annual competitive program funded
by the Coast Guard.
Inspirational Leadership Awards
Each year, four Coast Guard people are selected to receive prestigious leadership awards.

Provides a forum for a study and exchange of dialogue on
leadership issues.
