who say that cities are on the front lines of the nation’s growing health care crisis. Skyrocketing health

threaten to force cuts in other basic city services, such as police and fire protection, schools, parks, and the

Progress on the Crime Fighting Strategy
May 1, 2008 - On January 7, 2008 Mayor Michael Nutter signed an Executive Order declaring a Crime Emergency and directed newly appointed Commissioner Charles H. Ramsey to submit a plan to reduce violent crime. The Crime Fighting Strategy was submitted by Commissioner Ramsey on January 30, 2008. more »
