"Hello, I joined the Just For Fun group from Cleveland, Ohio. I got my children and grandchildren to join with me. I love the name...just for fun. We can have fun and get fit by encouraging eachother to reach our goal. Thanks for starting this program."
"With gas prices so high, my son & I bicycle or walk to run our errands. This makes a tank of gas last two weeks! Thanks for running the WOMAN challenge. It encourages me to set higher exercise goals & gets me to really stick with the program. At the same time, my 3-1/2 year-old son & I enjoy spending time together outside when we explore the area around our new home. We have discovered some cool places we may have otherwise overlooked. Saving money is a great perk as well."
"Last year was my 1st WOMAN challenge. My son(then 2-1/2)got lots of wagon rides when I walked everywhere. By the end of the summer, I was walking 5-7 miles a day! I was also pleased to have lost 17 lbs. It felt great to be so active. After moving in September I fell out of my walking routine. Now Andrew & I are eager to explore near our new home. Madison, WI is awesome in that it is peppered with bike trails. A co-worker sold me her Burley, so this summer we can cover a lot more ground as I bike and pull Andrew along behind me."
"Saw this challenge on my work web site inviting us women to keep healthy. What a perfect way to gift ourselves, ladies being today is MOM's Day and I just completed my Town's Mother's Day 5k. Now I have another goal to work towards. COMPLETING MY CROSS COUNTRY CHALLENGE!!!!!"
"Retired WW ldr here, who expanded. :( My physical therapist suggested I join this, so I clicked on a random WW team and hope they can put up with me. ;) Walking is my forte`, but I do get some bike riding in, and lots of time on the AirDyne."
"I hope to have a success story to share after completing this. I am joining in hopes of helping my 10 year old lose some weight and learn to appreciate how good it can feel to set a goal and accomplish it! Go MARY!"
"I've been with the Losin' and Lovin' It! msn group for years and suggested we join this challenge! It will give us added incentive to keep movin' and reach our 8 week goal! Best wishes to all the teams! Thanks to women's health for giving us such a wonderful way to walk with our friends across the Nation! - from Arizona"
"This is my third year of having a team on the WOMAN Challenge. The first two years I had a team based on people at work. This year I have a team based on a group of Weight Watcher ladies in their 50's across the country! This has always been a great motivator for me and got me hooked on using a pedometer. Looking forward to a great Challenge in 2008!"
"Hi, I had a heart ablation 2 months ago & I want to be healthy for my family so they will be proud of my success!"
"I am so excited to join this challenge. Right now at my school, we are having a getting fit contest related with baseball and it will end soon, so having this to continue on for the summer will help me stay fit as well as the other women who are in the contest with me. I am very pumped to see what my team can do and how we can stay fit and trimmed for the summer and months beyond. How FLAB can stay FAB!!!"
