GEORGIA POWER COMPANY, ORDER TRANSFERRING CASE TO ADMINISTRATIVE LAW JUDGE QUENTIN P. MCCLOGIN The case of complainant Thomas J. Saporito Jr. vs Georgia Power Company and Nuclear Support Services Incorporated respondents, Case No. 92-ERA-00038 has been assigned to me for adjudication. The case of complainant Thomas J. Saporito, Jr. vs Houston Lighting & Power Company respondents, Case No. 92-ERA-00045 has been assigned to Administrative Law Judge Quentin P. McClogin for adjudication. Now comes complainant and in each case submits his motion [Page 2] for Consolidation of Hearings on grounds stated in his motion. Complainant raises issues and evidentiary matters common to both cases. Objection has been made to consolidation by respondents in Case No. 92-ERA-00038. This judge has considered the request for consolidation and concludes that judicial efficiency and justice will best be served by transferring this case to Administrative Law Judge Quentin P. McColgin so that the two cases can be consolidated for consideration of the pending motions. This reassignment is made with the concurrence of Judge Quentin P. McColgin and Deputy Chief Judge John Vittone who is responsible for the assignment of ERA cases. By copy of this Order all parties are hereby notified of the reassignment of this case to Judge McColgin. Henceforth all correspondence, motions, and procedural matters relating to both cases are to be addressed to:
