                          NOTICE OF CASE CLOSING

     This case arises under Section 405, the employee protection
provision, of the Surface Transportation Assistance Act of 1982
(STAA), 49 U.S.C.A. § 31105 (1994).  The Administrative Law
Judge (ALJ), on January 10, 1995, issued a Notice To Parties
allowing until January 25, 1995, for the Complainant to advise
the ALJ that he was prepared to proceed to hearing.  Complainant
did not respond and on February 22, 1995, the ALJ issued an Order
of Dismissal.  Pursuant to the ALJ's order, this case is closed.
     SO ORDERED.
