The captioned matter was set for hearing on Monday, August 31, 1981 in Bloomington, Illinois, pursuant to Notice issued on August 11, 1981. The hearing was noticed pursuant to a complaint filed by the Complainant requiring expeditious disposition. The Complainant failed to appear at the scheduled August 31, 1981 hearing or to give timely written notice that he did not intend to appear. His failure to appear entailed considerable expense and inconvenience on all concerned with the hearing. For example, the following items are mentioned: [Page 2]
In view of the foregoing and such other reasons as are apparent in matters of this nature when a Complainant fails to pursue his complant, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Complainant show cause within 15 days from date of issuance of this show cause notice why this proceeding should not be dismissed.
