What is the Scholarship Program?

The Scholarship Program and the Fellowships Program
are vehicles for knowledge sharing and capacity building in the developing world. The Programs provide opportunities for graduate and postgraduate studies leading to master's and doctoral degrees in development-related fields for mid-career professionals from the World Bank member countries, eligible to borrow. WBI supplements its training programs through the management of the following two programs:

The Robert S. McNamara Fellowships Program (RSM Fellowships)•  The Robert S. McNamara Fellowships Program (RSM Fellowships)
Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP)• The Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP), sponsored by the Government of Japan.
 Universities to study

Note
Nationals of other member countries, not eligible to borrow, and those who cannot meet the Programs' eligibility criteria would have opportunities with other sponsors.
