ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE WHY RECORD SHOULD NOT BE CLOSED

This matter came for hearing before me in Brattleboro,
Vermont, on December 6 and 7, 1994.

During the course of the hearing on December 7, 1994, this
Court ruled that the record will be kept open in order to permit
respondent Steinmann Transportation, Inc., to examine and respond
to the computations presented in the document marked CX-5 for
identification. (See Transcript at page 284). Respondent
was directed to respond within 30 days after receipt of the
transcript by Respondent.

This Court received its copies of the transcript on December
27, 1994. Attorney for U.S. Department of Labor states that the
transcript was received on the same day. Hence, respondent
expectedly would have received its transcript copy on or about
December 27, 1994.

Response from Steinmann should have been submitted within 30
days subsequent to receipt of the transcript on or about December
27, 1994. No response or comment of any kind has been received
from Steinmann by this Court subsequent to the hearing held on
December 6 and 7, 1994.

                                   ORDER

Accordingly, all respondents are ordered to show cause why the
record should not be closed and a date set for the filing of post-
hearing briefs so that a decision may be rendered in this case by
the Court.

[PAGE 2] Respondents are directed to respond to the order of this Court on or before March 28, 1995. Failure to respond to this order will result in the closing of the record on March 28, 1995. ________________________ CLEMENT J.
