The South Dakota Field Office, located in Sioux Falls, is one of 46 field offices of USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Services (NASS). The NASS mission is to provide timely, accurate, and useful statistics in service to US agriculture. The primary role of our office is carry out the NASS mission and serve the agriculture data needs of South Dakota. The South Dakota office has a cooperative agreement with the South Dakota Department of Agriculture and South Dakota State University. These partnerships enable NASS to conduct surveys and prepare reports specifically for South Dakota.
