INFORMATION BULLETIN (00-97) November 7, 2000 Sustainable Fisheries Division 3:45 p.m. 907-586-7228 NMFS ADDS ANCHORAGE TO 2001 R&R WORKSHOP SCHEDULE The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Alaska Region, and the United States Coast Guard (USCG) North Pacific Regional Fisheries Training Center will present workshops concerning 2001 recordkeeping and reporting (R&R) requirements at 50 CFR part 679 for the Alaska groundfish fisheries, according to James W. Balsiger, Administrator, Alaska Region, NMFS. The workshops will include discussion of proposed changes to the R&R requirements along with instructions for completion and submittal of the required forms and logsheets. Suggestions and feedback on existing procedures are welcome.
