The Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) reports that African Americans have been greatly affected by HIV/AIDS since the start of the epidemic. This report provides statistical information on the demographics of infected individuals and provides an explanation for why a disproportionate concentration of HIV/AIDS among African Americans exists.
