Our builders and other associates provide sustainable housing in an area of more than 4,000 square miles in the State of Washington, covering King and Snohomish Counties. Built Green homes are designed to provide homeowners with comfortable, durable, environmentally friendly homes that are cost-effective to own and operate. These resource-efficient homes are crafted to exceed building codes and provide homeowners with years of healthy, quality living, while protecting the precious Northwest environment.
Built Green is an environmentally-friendly, non-profit, residential
building program of the Master
Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties, developed
in partnership with King
County, Snohomish
County, and other agencies in Washington State. This website
provides consumers with easy-to-understand rating systems,
which quantify environmentally friendly building practices
for remodeling and new home construction, communities and multifamily
development units. We hope you will consider buying or remodeling
according to Built Green standards, becoming a member of Built

Look for the Built Green Logo
The Built Green logo is your assurance that your builder has certified that your new home contains selected Built Green features and meets the criteria on the Built Green checklist. Be sure to check the list of participating builders to locate a Built Green builder in your area.
