The
Departmental Administration/Information
Resources Division
(DA/IRD) is a sub-unit
of the Office of
Management Services.
Its function is
to provide strategic
and technical information
services support
for the offices
under the Assistant
Secretary for Administration.
These offices include
the following: Office
of Ethics, Office
of Human Capital
Management (OHCM),
Office of Operations
(OO), Office of
Property Management,
Office of Procurement,
Office of Small
& Disadvantaged
Business Utilization
(OSDBU), Hazardous
Materials Management
Group(HMMG), Office
of Personnel &
Document Security;
Office of Administrative
Law Judges (OALJ),
Office of the Judicial
Officer (JO), and
Energy & Environment.
Strategic information
services provided
include information
resources and technology
policy, planning,
and architectures
for the offices
of Departmental
Administration (DA).
Technical services
include application
development, cyber
security, and operations
of telecommunications,
desktop and corporate
hardware and software.
DA has flexible,
future-oriented,
secure and innovative
technology, resources
and services to
support it, to provide
the basis for cost-
effective and responsive
business processes
that satisfy its
customers by their
efficiency, accessibility
and ease of use.
DA-IRD provides
support and leadership
to ensure that IRM
policies, procedures,
advice, counsel
and services meet
the needs of the
DA program offices
and provides secure,
efficient, effective
and accessible services
and infrastructure.
