We've launched a new publication series, "Achieving Results with Renewable Energy in the Federal Government," highlighting the benefits of renewable energy in the federal sector. The newest case study features the Alfred A. Arraj U.S. Courthouse in Denver, Colorado, the first federal courthouse to build solar electricity right into its structure. For more, read Solar is Saving Energy for the Alfred A. Arraj U.S. Courthouse (PDF 949 KB, 4 pp).
The first publication from this series featured a large solar thermal system installed at the Phoenix Federal Correctional Institution. It described the parabolic trough solar system's specifications and highlighted 5 years of measured performance data. For this publication, visit Heating Water with Solar Energy Costs Less at the Phoenix Federal Correctional Institution (PDF 704 KB, 4 pp).
