Accessible
PDF documents are properly tagged Adobe Portable Document
Format (PDF) files and can be accessed with free software
download called Adobe
Reader. When properly
prepared for accessibility, PDF files work along together
with a screen reader to provide complete access to the document
to employees who are blind. In addition, Accessible PDF files
provide font enlargement and contrast options to employees
with low vision. For more information on Accessible PDF files,
contact the TARGET
Center and request our training
session on Making
Accessible PDFs.
