There are five basic ways to get involved as a volunter at Oregon Parks and Recreation Department. Each type is listed in a section below. In each section there is information including a general description of the type that of duties that are typical for that particular program.

Adopt-a-Park or Partners in Park Program |

Want to help with maintenance, construction or another special project at your favorite park? Find out more about our Adopt-a-Park program - download How do I adopt a park?
If you´re interested in the Adopt-a-Park program, complete an Adopt-a-Park interest form and send it to the address listed below. Our Cooperative Association (Friends Group) Partnerships |
|
Private, nonprofit Friends groups are set up many parks statewide. The purpose of these partnerships is to provide educational services within state parks. To learn more about our partnerships please visit What is a Friends group?

Individual & Group Volunteers |

There are always special projects and internship styled volunteering opportunities at Oregon State Parks! These projects range from being administrative in nature to requiring specialized skills and knowledge that maybe only YOU can bring to the table.
