If no, they can steer you to the area collection. There will be books, publication, CD and Internet sources of grant materials for foundations as well as links to government sources. I am supervisor of this collection in our library as well as a literacy and ESL author. Material on education, children and youth, projects and other areas would be a start. The library is a good source as well as your internet. Try the links via the foundation center at www.fdncenter.org as well as the NIFL sites. lmc > I would love to get some information on funding and grant sources > Thanks Helena Kosoff > > -----Original Message----- > From: Nancy Sledd <nsledd@famlit.org> > To: Multiple recipients of list <nifl-family@literacy.nifl.gov> > Date: Saturday, February 26, 2000 10:26 AM > Subject: [NIFL-FAMILY:2756] Thanks to Tony Peyton and Alan Lopatin > > > >Thanks, Tony and Alan, for sharing a lot of information with us this week. > >I realize both of you have extremely busy schedules, and I appreciate your > >willingness to share with the folks on this list about what is happening in > >Washington and how we can impact legislation. > > > >I was interested this week by the few responses to Tony and Alan's > postings. > >When I consider the strong interest by all of you in family literacy, I > >wonder if the lack of postings this week was due to the busy/packed > >schedules you all already have, or was the information shared not new > >information, or was it because we tend to think we can not really impact > >legislation.
