He writes, "It has become clear that a laundry list of obstacles to teaching and learning at a distance is only a first step. By itself, listing dozens of obstacles is not very useful for most educators and trainers. I think there's value in identifying the most common barriers." Berge invites all T&D Extra readers to participate in his data gathering by completing a survey located at: http://cgi.umbc.edu/cgi-bin/dharley/misc/barrier_survey.pl. Berge says that the survey takes about 15 minutes to complete, and he will share results with participants who provide their email addresses.
