Against Warrantless Wiretaps

"We need not choose between our security and our liberty."
-Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz

November 15, 2007

(Washington, DC)  --  Rep. Wasserman Schultz has been a leading voice in Washington to protect Americans' constitutional rights while protecting Americans from terrorists.  On November 15, 2007 the House of Representatives voted to pass the RESTORE Act, protecting Americans from warrantless wiretaps, while ensuring that the intelligence community has the tools it needs to protect Americans from terrorists.  Below you will find video of Rep. Wasserman Schultz who throughout the year has been arguing that "we need not choose between our security and our liberty."
