Dr. Juon is an Associate Professor at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is also a behavioral scientist and has fifteen years of professional experience conducting health-related research. Her primary research interests focus on minority mental health, suicidal behavior, substance use, criminal behavior, and cancer control behaviors. She is active in professional organizations and community service. Since 2003, she has been working as a grant review committee member of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation's National Race for the Cure in Washington, D.C. and the National Cancer Institute's Special Population Network program. She is a member of the Asian American and Pacific Islander National Advisory Council of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation to provide input and recommendations to the Komen Foundation for the past two years. Currently, she is an Advisory Board member of the Intercultural Cancer Council Advisory Board member.
