Welcome to Ecological Services

Our mission is to conserve, protect, and enhance fish and wildlife and their habitats through consultation, cooperation and communication for the continuing benefit of the American people.

This program is responsible for the administration of the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (ESA), which is regarded as one of the most comprehensive wildlife conservation laws in the world. The Endangered Species program works to conserve and restore endangered and threatened species and the ecosystems upon which they depend.
