Question: I saw a news article on MedlinePlus but now I can't find it. What happened to it? Can you give me more information about its source and the subjects covered?


Answer:

  • MedlinePlus displays HealthDay articles for 90 days and Reuters articles for 30 days.

  • News articles display on the MedlinePlus Health Topic pages, the News by Date page and the News by Topic pages.

    • The Health Topic pages display a maximum of three HealthDay or Reuters stories. Check the News by Date or News by Topic pages for additional articles.

  • News articles come from the HealthDay and Reuters news services. NLM staff adds articles to MedlinePlus on the basis of their content.

    • NLM does not write the news articles. Please contact HealthDay or Reuters directly with any editorial comments.

  • NLM cannot provide medical advice or opinions about topics covered in the news.
